About The Loco Klub
The Loco Klub is a joint venture with the Invisible Circus; at our core we aim to be a collaborative, cultural hub for a creative city, celebrating community, diversity and the power of the arts.
Hidden in the former Ash Pits of Brunel’s original station at Bristol Temple Meads and making use of the historic Railway workers social club, the venue’s tunnels and victorian style lend themselves to an atmospheric location for a variety of happenings. From immersive theatre and industry talks, to operas, orchestras and cabarets, to film shoots and music videos, club nights and gala dinners… we are here to continue writing the story of our creative cultural identity through art in all its forms.
Enshrouded in the mysterious shadows of our city’s past and illuminated by the creative potentials of its future, The Loco Klub sets the scene for some of Bristol’s most groundbreaking, intimate and curious live event experiences.
Previous collaborators on events at the Loco Klub include:
Bristol Old Vic, Tobacco Factory Theatres, BBC, Aardman, Boomtown Fair, Boiler Room, Depop, Circus City, Watershed, Bristol Beacon, Submerge Festival, Sofar Sounds, Insight Ensemble, SheXtreme Festival, Impermanence, Raucous Theatre, Boom Satsuma, BIMM, Mayfest and In Between Time.
